If your eyes have never been examined by a uveitis specialist, you should
establish a relationship with one for a thorough baseline exam of your
eyes/retinas -- even if you've never had any problems with your vision.
Approximately 75% of Behcet's patients eventually develop some form of eye
complication -- but it DOESN'T mean that you are destined to go blind!! I dealt
with almost nonstop uveitis inflammations for 10 years, and still have 20/30
vision in each eye, due to great treatment by a uveitis specialist.
